During 2015 Hajj over 700 have been reported killed and over 800 injured by stampede due to overcrowding. The domino effect of people at the back shoving got amplified with each person loosing balance in front of them, in the overcrowded spaces. This is completely preventable.
Help protect our fellow Americans performing Hajj by encouraging Saudi government put in place appropriate crowd safety measures. For example, enforcing maximum capacity limits, turn stalls or even foot-traffic lights as appropriate. This can prevent deaths which happen every year due to overcrowding.
