The OPM breach that compromised the private information of federal civilian employees and family members is unacceptable. Our government should be held accountable for not protecting the personally identifiable information (PII) with available encryption technologies. Encryption, it will serve as a better defense against new tools and technologies that are being used to hack insecure government systems.
