End the $174,000 annual salary to politicians and make them have the same healthcare as everyone else.

I would like to start a petition to remind the government who is in charge and who pays their salaries. If their heart is where it should be, then politicians will do for the greater good of this country that we love. They should sacrifice just like the rest of us. They already have well paying jobs, why do they need the $174,000 salary that tax payers provide. They are representatives; not in charge, they represent us, we put them where they are. They should have the same health care opportunities that the people they represent get. The rich, the poor, the people that fall between the cracks; we are all equal. We are why America is strong. It should be an honor to serve as a elected official; not a perk.
