It's really past due for us to drop the senseless long-standing embargo on Cuba. We are quick to step in to help faraway countries, but it's time to help out our neighbor. In fact many Americans are Cubans - why do we continue to turn our backs on family? This would not only benefit Cuba, but certainly benefit America (especially Florida) in so many ways as well: think trade, travel, and expansion of businesses.
Perhaps this was a sensible option when Cuba was a threat to our national security but I'm sure America will join me in saying it's time.
I'm sure the Government is concerned about Cuba's association with Venezuela, however we've helped plenty of other countries with affiliations that we didn't care for either.
