Abortion is the killing of a living, human fetus. While many people claim that the developing fetus is not a human yet, it is scientifically inconsistent to claim that the developing fetus is not a human being just months before being born, and that the same fetus is a human, months later, at birth. Due to the fact that this fetus is a human, an abortion is fundamentally the destruction of a human life. This leads to the purpose of this petition: to end the destruction of innocent, defenseless, human lives.
