The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) agreement is just another front to end the sharing of culture on the internet. ACTA has been an "underground" agreement between 39 countries. They have refused to give out ANY information about the agreement, even on the most basic rights of man. There are "Border searches" infringing our right to privacy. The draft agreement would empower security officials at airports and other international borders to conduct random searches of laptops, MP3 players, and cellular phones for illegally downloaded or "ripped" music and movies. Travellers with infringing content would be subject to a fine and may have their devices confiscated or destroyed. ACTA should NOT be allowed to pass.
