Affirmative Action began as a means to 'level the playing field' for certain groups deemed as 'disadvantaged', like women and racial minorities. Over time, it evolved into an unfair advantage for those preferred groups, who benefitted simply because of their race or gender. The majority, White males, especially, are routinely denied job opportunity despite higher qualifications. Schools and corporations offer scholarships to every single race except Whites, under AA. If a White group offers the same to their members, it's racist and discriminatory.
One can't choose gender or skin color, but one CAN avail themselves of opportunities that are available to everyone. Children of all races and genders learn in the same classrooms, and achievements should be earned on merit, not genetic makeup.
