End the Afganistan War, cut the Military and Pentagon budgets, & use the funds to create jobs and reduce the deficit.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which were started under false pretenses, have drained our federal budgets and cost immense loss of life to our own troops and to the innocent citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan. Now that Osama Bin Laden has been killed, we have no justifiable reason to maintain such a large military presence in the middle east. We need to cut the defense budgets, the pentagon budget and put those funds toward job creation and deficit reduction. We are a country in crisis with astronomical unemployment, record numbers of homeless and foreign policies that threaten our security within our own borders. Stop supporting government contractors and support our citizens, our infrastructure and increase our safety at home.
