End agriculure subsidies.

Agriculture subsidies have created an incredibly distorted food market. With commodity prices rising subsidies have essentially become a means by which working families pay for groceries and then pay for them again on the back end through taxes. Subsidized crops such as commodity corn have created situations in which high fructose corn syrup and other corn derivatives have made their way into the bulk of the food supply. This has been a contributing factor in our nation's obesity problems and the related health problems. Please consider ending agricultural subsidies which have had the perverse effect of making healthy food more expensive than junk food.
