A major debate is going on right now, a debate to desecrate your 2nd amendment rights. A ban on "assault riffles" would not stop violence, or killings! for example lets just ban cocaine, and heroine that will stop those pesky drug addicts from doing drugs. Oh wait... point is education is the key factor here if everyone who is/ already does own a firearm took a class and got more education on the use and dangers of firearms a majority of deaths by firearms could be avoided.
very similar to educating drivers in the united states this is a safe and very neutral approach that would not infringe on YOUR RIGHTS.
