End all exemptions for members of Congress and other politicians when creating new laws.

This petition is to end the exemptions that Congress and lawmakers receive from the very laws that they create. The rest of America elects these officials and trusts that they will represent them fairly in Washington. However, these lawmakers are imposing laws on the citizens that Congress, the president, and others are not required to comply with. These exemptions are something that aren't often discussed by the Washington elite. And while I'm sure lawmakers enjoy these perks, it is unfair to the public and demonstrates the lack of respect lawmakers have for their own laws. This petition asks that the Obama administration takes action and puts a stop to this unfair treatment, and make it mandatory for elected officials to abide by the same laws as the rest of the country.
