Farm subsidies were created during the great depression and are not needed in todays agriculture. The oil companies do not need subsidies either. Look at the massive profits being produced. Why do the taxpayers need to pay twice for oil and food? We are also paying subsidies to OTHER COUNTRIES farms!!!
We need to end government subsidies NOW! Our country is in debt. We can't afford this anymore. We don't need to spend money on things twice.
