Disabled Working People in all jobs (including the military)who collect annuities or other forms of early retirement & or pensions & compensations are collecting previously taxed insurance benefits that are treated as earned income every year by the IRS & State franchise boards.
This is a travesty to those who cannot work or increase thier incomes with inflation & also pay excessive medical costs due to pre-existing conditions caused in employment.
Receiving insurance benefits is not an entitlement nor earned icome, it is a legal workmen's compensation right just to survive as a casualty in our economic war on disabled working people who medically cannot earn any income by law. As the current Social Security Iinsurance age for retirement rises, the more elderly will become injured.
