These United States can no longer afford to send aid to foreign governments. While the portion of the budget for foreign aid is small it is money that should remain at home.
We should also cease providing military aid to foreign governments and dissident groups. Propping up unpopular governments wins us many enemies and backing dissident groups often empowers and arms groups that have no intention of becoming our friends.
