End all funding of the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation which funds restoration of foreign religious sites

This government should immediately stop all funding of the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation. This fund, which was authorized by congress many years ago actually contributes millions of U.S taxpayer dollars for the restoration of foreign religious sites in several countries. In a time when religious symbols, such as the cross are constantly under fire by various institutions in the U.S., there is no way that one U.S taxpayer dollar should be used for this purpose.
