Gun control itself violates the Second Amendment; A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. This Amendment was created in a time of Revolution from an oppressive government and its reasoning still holds true today; it is in place to prevent oppressive governments from taking over our great nation. If the populace is armed, it can protect itself from internal and external threats. This applies to any arms, including artillery (the Founding Fathers already dealt with this, cannons on private merchant ships) and you name it. If every mentally sane adult owned a gun in America, crime would virtually disapear or at least lower near to nothing. Sign this if you care about freedom.
