End All Official and Unofficial Law Enforcement Racial Profiling Policies

Racial profiling remains an issue that is dividing Americans along racial lines. Racial profiling is a practice in which law enforcement agents target specific groups for investigation. Racial profiling in law enforcement agencies must be abolished immediately and permanently. In November 2013, a Federal Appeals judge upheld a ruling, stating that racial profiling in New York's Stop and Frisk Program were unconstitutional. While this is absolutely a step in the right direction, rates of racial profiling in other parts of the country have increased in recent years. In the United States, an African American man is more than six times more likely to be incarcerated than any other group.
