This petition is important because people below the voting age are unable to vote for their representatives. However, people below the voting age are required to pay the taxes that the legislature passes. I hope this petition will bring before the Congress the fact that we must not allow taxes to be levied against those who have no representation on the matter. No taxation without representation. If people below the voting age cannot vote then they should not be expected to pay taxes on any income they may earn or acquire.
