We provide criminals with a right to trial and yet we murder or incarcerate, denying the principle of innocent until proven guilty.
We allow our own citizens to bear arms, yet foreigners abroad somehow pose a security threat to our nations.
We support and promote the Just War Theory and Humanitarian Intervention yet our causes are ignoble and we ignore true violations of Human Rights.
We subscribe to the Geneva Convention and yet our "tactical strikes" are a gross dereliction of Human Rights.
In political speeches we are the peoples' champion yet we spit in their faces.
If we are a peoples' champion, who are these people and why should they ever choose us?
Our leaders promised withdrawal and a reduction in forces abroad, instead our dealings have simply become more secretive.
