End American Police Brutality

Created by P.H. on September 21, 2013

Police brutality is at an all-time high in our nation, and a vast majority of the time, it goes completely unpunished. Officers regularly raid our homes without warrants, injure our families, cause damage to our property and seldom, if ever, so much as give an apology. Recently in Chicago, police tased and fired a bean bag round at a 95-year-old WWII veteran, killing him because he refused to go to the hospital for a urinary tract infection.

We urge President Obama and Attorney General Holder to publicly denounce police brutality and power abuse and to push legislation compelling police departments to punish officers for excessive, unwarranted attacks on American citizens. We have the right to feel safe in our own homes.
