end any and all exemptions congress has granted themselves to circumvent the laws they have passed

Created by R.W. on February 20, 2013

Congress shall not be above the laws they pass, We the people request that all exemptions given to themselves from laws they have passed be nullified and that members of Congress shall uphold the constitution and laws that they swore an oath to uphold.

In future sessions Congressional members shall not pass any laws upon the American people that they themselves can not be held accountable to.

An example is the Affordable Healthcare Act. In it is a provision that a cadilac insurance plan will invoke a hefty tax penalty. Members of Congress have such a plan as paid for by the taxpayers and they have exempted themselves from the Affordable Healthcare Act and thus placed themselves above the law they impose on the people.
