End background checks on credit related activities for those applying for jobs.

Created by R.S. on February 05, 2016

Currently businesses big and small are legally allowed to view an applicant's credit score before determining whether or not to hire them for a job they've applied for. This is detrimental to those who have fallen behind in payments due to no fault of their own (sickness, low wages, etc.). If the scrutiny against credit scores was lifted and people were hired based on employment background, experience and education many of those with bad credit could drastically improve their credit situation. Until this antiquated practice is ended, the discrimination of those less fortunate will continue in today's job market. Something that serves to hurt our economy, the lives of families, etc. So we ask that the President sign an executive order ending this antiquated practice once and for all.
