you should be able to get a good job. people shouldn't be discriminated against for the rest of there life for a small petty crime such as theft or other various crimes. if you have paid your fines and your debt to society and you have committed a crime not involving harassment or abuse and you are not a sex offender then there should be no discrimination for employment.you cant even get a min wage paying job! good people make mistakes therefore they shouldn't be punished forever they should be able to better themselves and get a decent job and be able to provide for themselves. this will cut the cost of welfare if people can get better paying jobs they wont have to live off of food stamps or welfare. which saves the gov. money. stop employment discrimination.
