The Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, signed into law by President Obama in June of 2009, was intended to discourage minors from smoking by placing graphic images on warning labels on tobacco products. The act also banned flavored cigarettes and clove cigarettes, but did not ban menthol cigarettes. This is an invasion on the personal liberties of those who smoke, and could potentially be harmful to the United States' relations with Indonesia.
