End the ban on gay blood donors.

Created by A.Y. on January 04, 2014

Overturn the FDA ban on gay blood donations. Blood banks currently have a shortage of blood donors yet they won't allow gay men to donate. In place since 1985 before modern blood testing, this ban is no longer necessary. All blood donations are screened for HIV and other STD's after donation and are very accurate. The current ban is discriminatory against the gay community and no longer useful.
