end the ban on handmade glass pipes that have features that identify the device as designed to be used for marijuana.

Glass pipes are a rapidly growing industry in America. But because of misguided laws that establish the definition of a pipe that has certain features as being intended for use of marijuana, they have been banned on the federal level since 2002. This ban needs to be repealed permanently so that tens of thousands of hard working artisans can legitimately ply their trade and contribute to the tax base without fear of prosecution. In an economy that is suffering a prolonged recession we cannot force an industry that is growing rapidly to hide underground.
