In November 2014, the Republican controlled House Intelligence Committee found no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the Obama administration in the handling of the events in Benghazi on September 11, 2012.
After seven investigations, 13 hearings, 50 briefings, 25,000 pages of documents, and millions of taxpayer dollars, we have learned what there is to learn about the tragic events in Benghazi, yet the House Select Committee intends to continue investigations at enormous taxpayer expense well into 2016. Will the GOP be allowed to continue this as long as it remains a lucrative fundraiser for their political activities?
The questions have been answered and any further investigations should be conducted at the personal expense of the investigators rather than the taxpayers.
