With just about a week until the nation arrives at the "fiscal cliff," it seems the priorities lie within political parties rather than with the country where it belongs.
As long as there is finger-pointing and blame being passed to someone on the other side of the aisle, the perception will remain that the desires of the political parties are more important than the American people.
We petition ALL members of government to immediately cease & desist any mention whatsoever of any other political party or side in regards to the fiscal cliff. From now on, both sides must work as ONE government to get a deal done. No more fighting or blaming another side. All members will be referred to as ONE entity by all others, and will use the term "WE" when referring to ANYONE else in a public forum.
