Why:
- Every year we hear the same old thing that “the first slaves came here from….”, “Slaves cleared the forest to…” “Slave, Slave Slave”
- Has anyone ever imagined what this does to little Black and White Children today? I can tell you it does good for neither of them. It continues to promote white supremacy. In a sense, Pandora’s box has been opened.
- 5 – Reasons to end Black History Month:
1 – It singles out Black Children
2 – It only focuses on Slavery and not what occurred before Slavery
3 – It does not build a child’s self esteem
4 – It divides Children at a young age
5 – Black History is World History
