We wish to discontinue bonuses to child proctective services for removing children and keeping them out of the home long enough to have reason to adopt them out. Although it started out as a good intention, many families have been needlessly ripped apart because child protective services has become greedy. The best interest of the child is not well served by ripping them out of their loving homes. The children who really need this service are not being protected. Bonuses should be to social workers who successfully keep a family together.
