The NatGeo channel has put on a show: "Diggers". The hosts who are ignorant of history and exact circumstances of historic events (learning along the way from "experts" at their filming location) are encouraging detecting on public lands and taking artifacts without knowing the circumstances and why the piece might be there;only for monetary gain.
I propose this show (and future variants) should be stopped: Credentials checked and guaranteed, no public land will be impacted, prosecution FULLY executed to producers.
Please stop this glorification of ARPA crimes and end the senseless means of such shows.
The Nation is set up for failure; it's cultural resources are being advertised for the taking by a few that feel artifacts are up for auction by those that find them by illegal means
