End Bullying, Abuse, and Neglect of Children With Disabilities

Created by G.C. on April 20, 2014

Bullying, abuse and neglect of Children with Disabilities (CWD's) at home and at school is a serious issue. At school children without disabilities verbally and physically bully CWD's on a daily basis. This can seriously impede on a child's ability to focus and learn in class. Frequent bullying can also effect the child socially causing him to feel unwanted, worthless and helpless. In the same way -- if not to an greater extent -- parent and caregiver abuse and neglect can negatively effect a child's wellbeing for the rest of their life. Join me in asking that the Obama Administration create stronger laws and harsher penalties against bullies and abusive/neglectful caregivers to protect CWD's from others who would treat them with less than the respect all children and all people deserve.
