Dear Mr. President,
This petition that we are creating, is all about the income gap and how it should be strongly be changed. The Income Gap is a gap between two groups, the rich and the poor. The rich are usually defined as the top 20% of income earners, and the poor are usually defined at the bottom 20% of income earners. Sadly, the Income Gap is increasing in the state of California, so we must take action. The fact that the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer, isn’t helping our state at all, there should be an equal balance. The Income Gap affects our state in a bad way by giving wealthier people an unacceptable state of controlling the lives of others, undermining the economic system, and causing social problems.
