End Cannabis Prohibition at a Federal Level.

My position, and the position of many Americans is that cannabis should be fully legalized for recreational use on a Federal level.

The effects of prohibition on any issue of morality, is greater harm to the health of society than it prevents. During the time of alcohol prohibition, we had many issues that led to it's expedient repeal.

I don't feel it necessary to point all of these out as the parallels are self evident.

*There have been 0 documented cases of overdose of cannabis.

*Recent studies absolutely debunk the "Gateway Drug" argument.

*Cannabis is an effective treatment option for hundreds of medical diseases.

*Alcohol, the drug that experts agree causes more harm to the user isn't prohibited.

*Legalization would make it a lot harder for children to get
