end child endangerment at protests and demonstrations

Members of Westboro Baptist Church and other groups have every right to exercise free speech. Our military fights to defend that right regardless of whether or not anyone agrees with what they have to say, but they and many other groups include their children in these demonstrations. Many protests and demonstrations have become dangerous situations with violence erupting in a matter of moments as is evidenced by the Occupy protests. An adult has every right to choose to take on such a risk, but a child is not able to make such a decision for himself or herself, and a child should not be forced to take on that risk before coming of age to properly weigh that decision. We insist that action must be taken to protect children from protest environments.
