Childhood poverty isn't going away. I don't understand how we can live in this country, the greatest in the world and, still allow this to happen. our most important resource are our children, even the poorest ones. We go over to other countries, help them to form a better way of life for themselves yet, we can't even take care of our own. I see this everyday, it's heartbreaking. Parent's that work but, still can't afford food because they have to keep a roof over their children's head. When are the people in Washington going to wake up and realize this? We elect them to pursue our best interest but, so far they only look out for themselves. Wake up Washington!!! Do what we put you in office to do! Address childhood poverty!
