Everyone knows that this ruling was wrong, and crazy. Now billionaires and corporations can pretty much choose our elected officials as they see fit. A corporation is NOT a person, it is a group of people.
Do it by Executive order, or by whatever means necessary before our next election. Don't let republicans like my senator Mitch McConnell stop it either.
If anything, campaign funds should be limited. Someone running for office should only be allowed to spend a fixed amount on their campaign. Then they should have to prove where every dollar came from, and pay taxes on anything that didn't come out of their own pocket, like a normal citizen would. If a person deserves to be in office, they should be able to make it based on their own merits, not rich friends buying it.
