The practice of adjusting our clocks twice a year between Standard Time and Daylight Saving Time (DST) is disruptive and unnecessary. On behalf of the many American citizens and businesses adversely affected by this antiquated practice, this petition hereby solicits the U.S. government to put an end to our bi-annual clock adjusting ritual.
This petition is not necessarily advocating for an end to DST; it simply calls for ending the practice of changing our clocks twice each year to "Spring forward" or "Fall back" one hour. The proposed alternative is to stick with one time (Standard or DST) and not keep switching back and forth.
