We the people petition Obama to push for a Constitutional amendment, or a re-convening of the Constitutional Convention to do the following:
- Push for term limits on elected officials in the US legislature
- Restructure the whole issue of Congressional pay so that the voters in each state decide the matter of pay raises wrt their own Senators and House members
- Elliminate the Congressional pension plan and heal benefits program, and put all elected officials on straight Social Security and Medicare, while having an uncapped amount of their money paid into the system while under tax payer based employ (aka holding office)
- Rescind the concept of corporate personhood
- Place meaningful limits on lobbying efforts, to remove the corruptive influences of big money from politics.
