This petition is asking for the following.
1. Create legislation that makes it illegal to compensate or be compensated for lobbying activities of any kind.
2. Overturn the citizens united decision and declare in a constitutional amendment that corporations are not people.
3. Create a comprehensive campaign finance reform bill that creates publicly funded, fair elections so that a wider range of economic classes are represented in public office.
4. Impose term limits on all federally elected officials.
It is our belief that these steps will lead to a stronger more prosperous America for all citizens and foster a government that is truly of the people, by the people and for the people.
