The voice of the government was set up for the people and by the people. Even when the constitution was formed, the people's voices were overshadowed by that of the large pockets of a select few wealthy individuals.
The corporations don't want to pay more taxes, but some companies are willing to throw millions of dollars at our government and officials to get what they want. If the majority of our country does not agree with something, money should not be able to override that in a democratic setting.
Corporations are not the voice of this country, the people are!
