Corporate lobbying is a glorified form of bribery. Corporations and industries do anything they can in order to sway the opinions of elected officials. It does not need to be legal or ethical because they only care about profits. Now, we live in a world where our own Speaker of the House has admitted in an interview that he has handed out bribes from the Tobacco Industry on the House floor.
