End Corporate Personhood.

Created by D.O. on September 22, 2011

A Constitutional Amendment to reverse the Supreme Court Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission decision.

This decision ends centuries of legal precedent and allows corporations and unions to have special status to contribute money to support politicians and issues. This creates a protected class with the owners of the corporation and, perhaps unwillingly, their customers. This creates a protected class, a clear violation of our rights under the 14th Amendment, and gives the officers of the corporation rights above and beyond our 1st Amendment rights to Freedom of Speech.

This constitutional amendment would end Corporate Personhood and recertify the equal freedom we all posess guaranteed by the 1st Amendment.
