We absolutely urge the Obama administration to end corporate welfare subsidies to big business and oil companies. The taxpayers should not help companies who are making millions or billions in profits. According to a watchdog group, corporate welfare amounts to a hundred billion dollars per year.
If we spent that hundred billion not on giving money to big companies and spent it instead on helping the poor, fixing the education system, or exploring other planets, we would be in an much better place than before.
