end corporate welfare and thus fix the whole minimum wage - living wage issue by...

Created by D.L. on December 01, 2014

By taxing businesses and corporations for the amount their employees use social services, they will no longer be able to take advantage of the welfare system to pay their employees living and health expenses for them.

Any job is better than no job in our society, but does that mean that taxpayers should have to pay for wages or health insurance for people who are not paid a living wage for their work?

Raising the minimum wage only puts off the problem until inflation rises again and since the cost of living is different everywhere, a federal minimum wage should realistically only apply to wherever the lowest cost of living in America is.

Welfare already differentiates cost of living and so this method is automatically individualized to each communities cost of living.
