In a world fraught with violence, terror, and the strong abusing the weak, the United States is supposed to be a beacon of light.
We the People often decry US intervention abroad that seems to be the result of backdoor agreements rather than principle, but we should never let that affect our support for US efforts to make our the world safer, fairer, and freer.
For too long, evil has reigned just south of our border. A combination of the misguided US War on Drugs and political corruption, Cartels have butchered innocent people of their own country. The victims, often beheaded live, include men and women, young and old, innocent or involved.
Cartel violence needs to stop. We must petition the Obama Administration to end the War on Drugs and send military into Mexico to restore order.
