David R. Daleiden, 27 and Sandra S. Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress are the subjects of criminal proceedings. These proceedings relate to videos in which highly placed officials of Planned Parenthood discuss buying and selling of human tissue gathered from aborted fetuses, an act that is currently illegal.
As these videos are of general interest, I believe that these individuals should be afforded freedom of the press protections under the 1st Amendment.
