For decades, the US has imposed an embargo on Cuba. This embargo has damaged the Cuban economy, inflicted indirect, but great harm to its people, and even punishes foreign firms that trade with them.
Over 180 countries have publicly condemned this negligence of the most basic foreign aid. Those countries represent over 6 billion of the world's population.
