This petition calls for an end to the current tax code in its entirety, to be replaced by a simple, fair and progressive tax for ALL Americans, including corporations, on ALL income.
The current tax code is onerous, unfair and ineffective to use the nicest terms possible. The current system favors everyone BUT the middle class, which is rapidly disappearing under the financial burden of supporting the country.
This petition proposes a fair and graduated income tax not less than 5% and not more than 30%, free of all exemptions, credits or deductions on ALL income from wages, investments and inheritance earned in the United States for all individuals, including but certainly not limited to corporations.
Contribution to society is the responsibility of every citizen to their country.
