Every year the advent of Daylight Savings Time ("Spring Forward" an hour) costs our economy millions of dollars in lost productivity from the time change. There have been several studies showing this. Many countries do NOT have DST and some U.S. states don't recognize it.
It is time we had a 'standard time' instead of some construct just to "save daylight."
